We all know that the truth is a slippery customer and that the camera can, and does, lie. We therefore have to be careful of forming judgements based on incomplete evidence. However if you look at this undated video what it appears to show is a group of undisciplined American soldiers opening fire from a safe position of cover on two civilian cars and killing the occupants. We then hear them whooping gleefully, laughing, and exchanging comments that include .. “Dude we f*cked those people to sh*t down there” … “we ripped them apart” …. and … “did you get that on record (video) huh” ?

Thats what it sounds and looks like. Is that how it sounds and looks to you ? Undisciplined killers revelling in their work ? I don’t know when the video was shot but that really doesn’t matter. All that matters is whether it accurately represents what happened. Old or new, if its true its horrible and totally unnacceptable. I hope that in some way the video is misleading. I hope that it misrepresents the situation. I hope that no people like this exist in either America or the American army.

I hope ….but I’m not optimistic
